Army JROTC Cadets Have a Unique Opportunity to Earn up to 22 Regionally
Accredited College Credit Hours through Adams State University (ASU) in Partnership with RTG & Associates!
This is College Credit for the Hard Work and Effort Cadet’s put into learning the Army JROTC Curriculum while enrolled in the Stephens County High School JROTC Program!
The Army JROTC “World-Class” Academic Leadership program provides its participants a quality citizenship, character, and leadership development experience, while fostering a spirit of service-learning within American communities.
Adams State University (ASU) in partnership with RTG & Associates, supplements these experiences with academic credits for efforts both within the classroom, and earned upon outside of the normal academic environment. The skill sets learned emphasize knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. Students demonstrate results in communication, physical fitness, working cooperatively, basic management skills, mental toughness, and teaming for the good of greater whole. Tuition is $60 per credit for all courses.
Course work with at least a ‘C’ grade are guaranteed transferable to an Associate’s degree earned on-line or on-campus with ASU, or based upon local decisions at your chosen institution nation-wide. ASU is a four-year and regionally accredited public university located in Alamosa, Colorado. ASU credits have a historical transferability rate of 99.7% and all grades are letter based.
