SHOULDER CORDS
LHS JROTC Cadets may earn and wear a variety of Shoulder Cords. A Shoulder Cord indicates that a cadet is proficient and active in the area that the cord represents. Unlike Ribbons and Arc Pins, Shoulder Cords are temporary awards. Standards for the retention and proper wear of individual cords are published in the organizational Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
